SWC 87th & Stoney LLC approved for parking lot, lighting project

Mokena, Ill., Nov. 28, 2022 –  SWC 87th & Stoney LLC, the building and construction branch of Location Finders International (LFI) Real Estate, recently announced the approval of its application under the Commercial Building Improvement Program for a parking lot and lighting project in Homer Glen. 

The Village of Homer Glen Village Board approved SWC 87th & Stoney LLC’s application during its meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 23. The approved grant allows for a matching reimbursement to upgrade an existing parking lot and monument sign light located at 14035 – 14065 S. Bell Road, Homer Glen, Illinois.

“This is illustrative of LFI’s willingness to upgrade its properties for the benefit of the tenants and community at large, as well as another example of partnering with local government officials to reach a common goal,” Rimas Grabliauskas, real estate analyst at LFI, said. 

 The project will replace old light fixtures with new LED fixtures that are compliant with the lighting code set by Homer Glen. The project will cost about $20,000 and is expected to take two weeks to complete.

 “We want to shout out the village here for working with us, specifically Janie Patch,” Grabliauskas said. “It was a tedious application process but she and I were able to work on it together to achieve the end result.”

 The project is set to begin upon the arrival of all light poles and custom fixtures. Grabliauskas said it may take up to 16 weeks due to supply chain issues.
